Bhutan Postal Codes
Bhutan uses a postal code system consisting of four digits to help organize mail sorting and delivery. The first digit typically represents a larger region or district, and the remaining digits identify specific towns or localities within that region.
For example, Thimphu, the capital city, has the postal code 11001. Other towns and districts across the country have their own unique codes. Bhutan's postal code system aids in the efficient handling of mail, ensuring that it reaches its destination in both urban and rural areas. However, due to Bhutan's small size, postal codes are not always used consistently in everyday mail addressing, especially in more remote areas.
