Cambodia Postal Codes
Cambodia uses a postal code system consisting of five digits, although it is not always widely used for everyday mail addressing. The postal codes help with mail sorting and delivery, particularly in larger cities and more developed areas.
The first two digits generally correspond to a province or region, while the last three digits narrow it down to specific towns, districts, or neighborhoods. For example, Phnom Penh, the capital, has postal codes like 12000 for the central area, with other districts and provinces having their own unique codes.
Despite the existence of postal codes, mail delivery in Cambodia may also rely on the detailed address and local knowledge, especially in rural areas where postal codes may not be as consistently used.
